Swimmers
Physical Demands
Swimming involves thousands of repeated arm movements during each session, particularly overhead motion of the shoulders combined with spinal rotation. The shoulders must be strong and stable to prevent strain while the core maintains body position in the water. Over time, muscle imbalance and fatigue can place excessive stress on tendons and joints, making shoulder pain, neck tension, and lower back discomfort very common, especially in younger swimmers during growth phases.
