Shad is an exceptional Sports Therapist with a remarkable reputation in Stoke-On-Trent. In 2020, he established his own clinic as a start-up, driven by a deep-rooted desire to enhance the well-being and mobility of people of all ages. Since then, Shad has garnered a loyal following of hundreds of regular patients while consistently attracting new individuals to his clinic on a weekly basis.

With a solid background in professional football, Shad's expertise extends to his work with Fylde 1st Women FC, where he gained invaluable experience in the field. Additionally, he contributed significantly to the Edge Hill University Sports Therapy Clinic from 2018 to 2020, further honing his skills.

​

Shad specialises in treating musculoskeletal injuries and neurological conditions , catering to both athletes and non-athletes alike. He adeptly addresses a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, utilising evidence-based treatments and rehabilitation programs. When necessary, he seamlessly coordinates referrals for NHS and private image scanning to facilitate comprehensive investigations.

In recent times, Shad has actively engaged with young athletes competing for the UK GB team in various sports such as gymnastics, trampolining, and dance. His expertise in working with these athletes showcases his versatility and adaptability in tailoring treatments and interventions to meet the unique demands of different disciplines.

 

Beyond his clinical practice, Shad assumes the role of director and one of the lead football coaches at Maximum Performance Development, a non-profit organisation focused on coaching children aged 4 to 16 years old. Within this role, he provides exceptional strength and conditioning guidance to football players while prioritising injury prevention strategies.

With his extensive experience, compassionate approach, and dedication to his craft, Shad exemplifies the pinnacle of excellence in sports therapy. His unwavering commitment to helping individuals move and feel better makes him a highly respected clinician within Stoke-On-Trent's healthcare community.

IRVINE TAPERA

MSc Physiotherapy

Irvine is an autonomous physiotherapist with two years of part-time experience, specialising in various fields within the NHS and private sector. Dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients, Irvine excels in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise functional mobility and ensure safe discharges. With expertise in respiratory physiotherapy, amputee rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal care, Irvine's commitment to patient-centered care, personalised rehabilitation programs, and empowering patients with self-management strategies makes them an invaluable healthcare professional dedicated to improving the well-being of others.

​

Irvine is a firm believer in ''health is wealth''. outside his professional career in physiotherapy, he takes part in various activities; cycling, running, and weightlifting on regular bases. Irvine takes part in different marathons from time to time and he aims to complete in Hyrox competition in the near future. Irvine enjoys his life outside of work, this allows him to create a balanced lifestyle between his personal and professional wellbeing.
